The annual five day Teppotsavams in Tirumala will be observed from March 5 to 9 in a grand manner in Swami Pushkarini. Every year during Phalguna Ekadasi, this float festival commences and is celebrated on a grand scale in the Swami Pushkarini for five days in the month of Chaitra (March-April) and concludes on Phalguna Pournami day on March 9. On the first day, Lord Sri Rama along with Sita and Lakshmana Swamy takes celestial ride on the finely decked float in Swamy Pushkarini. On the second day, Lord Sri Krishna flanked by Rukmini Devi are offered puja and taken for pleasure ride on float for three rounds.
