Mailara Jatara Dates 2022
Mailara Jatara is one of the biggest fair in Karnataka state.
It is located in Hadagali
taluk in Bellary district.
This Jatara is celebarated
every year in a temple dedicated to Lord Shiva in form of Mailareshwara.
It is believed that full
moon in the month of magh Elukoti(lord Shiva) with his wife Gangamalavva riding
on a white horse will visit this place.
People will experience the
arrival of God.
They offer Naivedya made
of banana, Sugar, Ghee and milk mixed together.

to February 19.
