Sri Maha Ganapathi Temple Timings - Gokarna
Sri Maha Ganapathi Temple is located at Gokarna in the state of Karnataka.
Here deity is made up of black stone. The image is 5 feet tall and two-handed, at the top of its head there is a hole that is said to be a mark of a violent blow inflicted by Ravana.
It is located on the east side of the Mahabaleshwar temple. This temple was built in the 15th Century AD.
The temple marks the incident when lord ganesha tricked the demon king ravana and took the Atmalingam from him.
