Pandharpur Yatra Dates 2024

The annual Pandharpur Yatra at the famous Vithoba Temple at Pandharpur in Maharashtra attracts thousands of people. This yatra takes place every year on the 11th day of the bright moon in the month of Ashada.

There is no definite information available on the origin of the Wari tradition but it has been taking place for more than 700 years.

Sant Tukaram’s Palkhi procession starts from Dehu & reaches Pandharpur via Aakurdi, Pune. Lonikalbhor, Yavat, Varvand, Baramati, Indapur, Akluj & Wakhri respectively.

 

Sant Dnyaneshwar’s Palkhi starts from Alandi & reaches Pandharpur via Pune, Saswad, Jejuri, Lonand, Faltan, Natepute, Malshiras, Velapur, Shegaon & Wakhri to Pandharpur.

 

In 2024, the Pandharpur Yatra Palki of Tukaram Maharaj from Dehu, Pune will start on June 28. 

Sant Dnyaneshwar Palkhi from Alandi begins on June 29.
