Sri Bedi Anjaneya Swamy Temple Timings – Tirumala

 


Sri Bedi Anjaneya Swamy temple is located in Tirumala. It is exactly opposite of Lord Venkateswara Swamy temple.


After offering Navivedyam to Varaha Swamy and Venkateswara Swamy it is brought to this temple.


Every Sunday abhishekam is performed to this deity, while special abhishekam is performed every year during Hanuman Jayanthi.

5.30 am to 9.00 pm.

  The once-in-a-year event, the procession of Sri Ugra Srinivasa Murty in Tirumala on the auspicious occasion of Kaisika Dwadasi will take place on November 13. About the unique idol: Among the Pancha Beras(five types of idols), Ugra Srinivasa Murty is considered the Snapana Beram.  The idol of Sri Ugra Srinivasa Murthy was also known as Venkatatturaivar and stands for the anger aspect of the Lord. Akshaya Navami

Akshaya Navami is observed on the ninth day of the Shukla Paksha in Kartik month in North India. it is also known as Amla Navami.     On this day, the Amla tree is worshipped as it is considered to be the abode of all Gods and Goddesses. The popular belief is that the Treta Yuga started on this day. Some people refer to the day as the beginning of the Satyuga. Lord Surya (Sun God) worshipped Goddess Durga on this day and was rewarded with properties that have him. Therefore it is believed that what is given on the day will never be destroyed but will only result in growth. Goddess Jagadhatri is worshipped on the day in West Bengal. An important event on Akshay Navmi is the distribution of alms and receiving of presents.
