Varaha Jayanti
- Varaha Jayanti is the birth celebration of the third incarnation of Lord Vishnu.
- It is celebrated on Tritiya tithi Shukla paksha of Bhadrapada month
- He incarnated himself as a boar to save the world and held Earth on the two tusks from under the ocean.
- It is believed that worshipping Lord Varaha brings all kinds of happiness to the devotee including health and wealth.
- Mainly Celebrated in South India
- Special pujas take place in Lord Vishnu Temples.
- An old temple of Varaha Swamy exists in Mathura where celebrations take place
- There is another temple in Tirumala where special puja takes place

- Most of the devotees observe fast on this day
