Tirupati: Pushpayagam at Sri Kodandarama Temple on May 12

Pushpayagam will be performed on May 12 at Tirupati Sri Kodandarama Swamy Temple with Ankurarpanam on May 11 

On May 12 between 10 am and 11 am Snana Tirumanjanam will be conducted for the Utsavarlu.

Later, from 4pm to 6 pm, along with Sita and Lakshmana, Sri Kodandarama Swamy is offered with various kinds of flowers.  

Later, at 7 o’clock in the night, Sri Kodandarama Swami along with Sri Seetha Devi and Sri Lakshmana Swamy blesses the devotees in the four mada streets of the temple.  

Grihastas (two persons on a ticket) can participate in Pushpayagam by paying Rs.1,000/- per ticket.

The annual Brahmotsavam was held from April 5 to 13.

Pushpayagam is performed as a sin-free ritual to the errors committed by the priestly attendants, office staff, non-authorities or devotees with or without their knowledge.
