Sri Kadu Mallikarjuna Swamy Temple Timings - Malleswaram, Bangalore

Sri Kadu Mallikarjuna Swamy Temple is located at Malleswaram, Bangalore. It is one of the oldest temples in the city.

Here Swamy is Swayambhu.

There is  “Srivalli” and Subramanya temple inside the campus of this temple.

The rituals of Abhisheka and special worship will be performed every Monday Shiva deepostsava - lighting the lamp ceremony will be held in Karthika masa KADALE KAAYI PARISHE (groundnut fair) will be during 3rd Mondays of Karthika masa. 

Brahma Rathosthsava (chariot celebration) will take place, a day after Shivaratri (Feb-every year) with special grandeur. The celebrations take place for one month. Many devotees visit the temple on this day. 

The ”Pradosha poojas” are performed once every fifteen days and the Rathotsava is held for one month.

In addition, Ugadi, Gowri-Ganesha festival and Navaratri festival, Dakshina Murthy during Dhanurmasa as a mark of education and Gurukulla respectively, murthyunjaya Homa for overcoming illness; Kadali(banana) and Arka Marriage are also performed. Raja Gopura and Vimana Gopura are being constructed as a part of the temple.
