This temple is dedicated to Kalika Durga Parameswari. She is an incarnation of Goddess Durga.

Sri Murugan Temple is located at Thiruparankundram in Madurai district of Tamilnadu State. It is regarded as one of the Six abodes of Lord Murugan. Magh Mela is an auspicious annual Hindu Ritual held in the month of Magh. It is also called mini Kumbh Mela. Vaikunta Ekadasi/ Mukkoti Ekadasi

Vaikuntha Ekadasi is one of the important and auspicious days for Hindus. It is dedicated to Lord Vishnu. It occurs in the Hindu calendar, in the month of Margashirsha (Between December and January).
