Mopuru Bhairaveshwara Swamy Temple Timings - Nalla Cheruvupalli

Mopuru Bhairaveshwara Swamy temple is located near Pulivendula town, Kadapa district in the state of Andhra Pradesh. This temple is situated on a hillock Surrounded by a river.


Bhairaveshwara Swamy is an incarnation of Lord Shiva. The idol here is in Spherical form. Here Goddess is known as Akkapappuramma.


This temple has two Rajagopurams. The temple dates back to 12th Century.


Devotees of Swamy Ayyappa take their deeksha here before starting their journey to kerala for blessings of Swamy ayyappa.

Sri Raghavendra Swami was born as the second son of Gopikamba and Thimanna Bhatta in the year 1595. The great saint who was hailed as the incarnation of Prahalada, the great bhakta of Lord Maha Vishnu, was born in the Mrighashirsha Nakshatra at Buvanagiri which is in the present day Tamilnadu. Born as Venkatanatha and fondly called Venkata Ramana, Sri Raghavendra Swami was the epitome of piety and bhakti.
