Sri Kotilingeswara Swamy Temple Timings - Kolar

Kotilingeswara Temple is located at Kammasandra Village in Kolar district in the state of Karnataka.

This temple is well known for housing the tallest Shiva linga in the world.

The temple has also statutes of all trimurties together and this is the only place where we can see them together, Shiva, Vishnu and Brahma.

Around 90 lakhs to 1 crore Shiva Linga’s were installed in the temple premises.

The tallest Shiva linga in the compound is 108 feet high and nandi statue is of 35 feet height.

This temple has 3 tier Rajagopuram. This temple was built in the year 1980.

Best Time to Visit – July to January

Traditional dress is allowed for Darshan.
