Sri Madurakali Amman Temple Timings – Siruvachur
Sri Madurakali Amman Temple is located at Siruvachur village in the Perambalur district in the state of Tamilnadu.
Sri Madurakali Amman is
an incarnation of Goddess Parvati
The idol is about 4 feet
tall and has weapons and Akshaya Patra, a vessel always full of food in her four
hands.
She is sitting with one
leg bent down and the other on a lion, without the traditional demon under her
feet representing her nonfurious form.
This temple is built at
the foothills of Madhira malai, hence the name Madurakali Amman.
This temple has a 5 tier
Rajagopuram and is built in the Dravidian style of architecture.
A pond outside the temple
is named Thirukkula theertham.
This temple was built
1000 years ago.
After Chithirai ammavasai 1st Tuesday the Poochorithal Festival and then
after 8th-day Kappu kattuthal Festival and then after 10th-day
Big car festival famous Big festival is celebrated.

year; Aadi for Aadi 18th day; Purattasi for Navarathri 10 days; Iyppasi for

Masi Sivarathri.
