• Gayatri Jayanti is Observed on Ekadasi day in Jyeshta Month. The next day after Ganga Dussehra.
• This day is a celebration to worship the mother of Vedas.
• Goddess Gayatri is worshipped as Veda Mata or the mother of Vedas, Dev Mata and Vishwa Mata.
• The Goddess is believed to have five heads. Four of the heads are a representation of the four Vedas while the remaining one represents the almighty.
• The celebration of Gayatri Jayanti involves offering prayers and chanting the Gayatri Mantra.
