Tulasi Mahatyam Utsavam in Tirupati Sri Govinda Raja Swamy Temple

 

Sri Tulasi Mahatyam festival will be celebrated on  August 16 at Sri Govindaraja Swamy temple in Tirupati. 

On Shravana Shuddha Dwadasi, special programs will be organized in the temple to commemorate the emergence of Tulsi.

As part of this, from 7.30 am to 9 am Sri Govindaraja Swamy atop the Garuda Vahana bless the devotees along the four mada streets of the temple.  

After that, Swamivari Asthanam will be held from 9 am to 10 am.  

In this, bless the priests who recite Tulasi Mahatyam Puranam.  After that, Theertha Prasadams will be given to the devotees.
