Sri Kalagolu Shambavi Ammavaru Temple - Kavali




Sri Kalugola Shambhavi Temple is located Kavali Town in Nellore District. This temple was built in 15th Century. Kalugola Shambavi is an incarnation of Goddess Parvati.


Goddess is adorned with sword in right hand and there is a shulam in the left hand.


Tirunallu is celebrated once in 12 years.


This temple has 3 tier Rajagopuram and four pillared Mandapam.

According to local legends, Sri Kalugola Shambhavi Devi appeared in the dreams of Sarvayapalem Village people. She is the incarnation of Parvathi Devi and install her idol in the place where with out Cock sound. The idol installed in western side of Kavali Town.
