Anegudde Sri Vinayaka Swamy Temple Timings - Kumbasi
Anegudde
Sri Vinayaka Temple is Situated in Kumbasi, Udupi District in Karanataka State.
Ane means elephant and Gudde means hill. It is one of the seven Pligrimage
places by Lord Parasurama.
Lord Ganesha is in the
standing position with four hands in the Sanctorum. The two hands held up,
known as the Varad Hasta. The other two hands are Pointing downwards which
means Salvation.
The idol of 12 feet tall
Vinayaka is made of a Single stone.
Lord Vinayaka sports a
Vaishnava tilak, so devotees praise him as Vishnu roopa ganapathi.
It is also believed that
the statue of Lord Ganapathi is growing every year.
This temple was 1200 years
old.
Devotees do Tulabharam by
weighing sugar, coconut, jaggery, rice against their weight.
