Murudeshwar Temple Timings




Murudeshwar Temple’s prominence is known worldwide as it is the place where World’s second largest Shiva statue is established. Murudeshwar is a small town in Bhatkal Taluk of Uttara Kannada district in the state of Karnataka, India. Murudeshwar is a synonym for Lord Shiva.

Lord Murudeshwara measures with 123 feet high statue. Here lord is in the form of Atma Lingam.


The Rajagopuram is 237.5 feet tall with 20 tiers.


It is oldest temple and been linked to Ramanaya era.

Traditional dress is allowed for darshan.
