Sri Swetharanyeswarar Temple Timings - Thiruvenkadu
Swetharanyeswarar temple is the fourth Navagraha Sthalam of the Nine Navagraha temples. It is located at Thiruvenkadu in the state of Tamilnadu.
Swetharanyeswarar is
incarnation of Lord Shiva. Goddess Vidya Ambal is the consort of Swetharanyeswarar.
This is the 65th
Devaram Paadal Petra Shiva Sthalam and 11th Shiva Sthalam on the
North side of river Cauvery in Tamilnadu.
This Shiva Temple is one
of the 6 most sacred places on the banks of river Manikarnigai and Cauvery
which is considered as equivalent to the temple at Varanasi.
This temple has a 5 tier
Rajagopuram. This temple was built 1000 years ago.
Among nine planets Budhan is said to bestow wisdom and intellect.
Offering puja to Bhuda Bhagavan on Wednesdays is believed to rectify Bhuda
Dhosham.
Budhan
is associated with intellect and knowledge; hence those who are not doing well
in studies should worship Budhan here. Budhan blesses one with good education,
knowledge, eloquence, music, astrology, mathematics, sculpture, medicine,
scholarship in languages.
