Maa Chintpurni Devi Temple Timings - Chintpurni
Maa Chintpurni Temple is located in Chintpurni in Una
district in the state of Himachal Pradesh.
Goddess Chintpurni devi is an incarnation of Goddess
Parvathi.
Rudra Mahadev is worshipped as Lord Shiva
Sati devi’s feet had fallen here and the temple is
also one of the 51 Shakti Peethas.
The weather is cold throughout the year. Rainfalls and Snowfalls often occur here. One Should carry proper winter clothes with muffler and gloves.
The temple is a single storeyed building made of
stones.
There is and banyan tree the campus of the temple
where the hair cutting ceremony of children is performed.
The Chintpurni fair locally known as mata Da Mela is
held from time immemorial is held twice a year in the month of march April
Chaitra Mela, july August Sawan Mela and other Mela in September October.
