Sri Kalka Ji Mandir Timings - New Delhi
Sri Kalkaji Mandir is located in Southern part of Newdelhi.
Kalka Devi is an incarnation
of Goddess Shakti. Belief is that Goddess Kalka here is a Self-manifested.
This mandir is also
called as Jayanti Peetha or Manokamna Siddha Peetha which literally means that
all the desires of the devotees are fulfilled here.
The temple is situated on
the Suryakoota Parvata, so Maa Kalki devi called as Suryakoota Niwasini.
During the Mahabharata
Lord Krishna and Pandavas worshipped Kali at this temple.
This temple was built in
1764 A.D
