Sri Adhi Ratneswarar Swamy Temple is located at Tiruvadanai
in Ramanathapuram district in the state of Tamilnadu.
Sri Adhi Ratneswarar is an incarnation of Lord Shiva
and he is Swayambhu here.
Snehavalli is the consort of Lord Adhi Ratneswarar
It is one of the 275 Paadal Petra Sthalams.

his Thevaram Hymns. This is the 9th temple in Pandya region praised
in Thevaram Hymns.

architecture. This temple has 9 tier Rajagopuram.
The sacred springs are Surya Pushkarini, Varuna,
Vaaruni, Markandeya, Agasthya and Kamadhenu Theerthams.

The Sun God is said to have worshiped a blue diamond image
