Sri Anjaneya Swamy Temple Timings - Banaswadi

Sri  Anjaneya Swamy Temple    is located at Banaswadi, Bangalore City in the state of Karnataka.


Here idol of deity Veera Anjaneya Swamy which is 4 feet.


Lord Siva, Rama and Ganapathi statues are found with in the Temple Compound.


The Temple was constructed  in typical Dravidian style.


The  Temple was 150 years old. Temple is renovated in the year 1917.

 

Best Season to Visit : September to February.


Traditional  Dress is allowed for Darshan

  The once-in-a-year event, the procession of Sri Ugra Srinivasa Murty in Tirumala on the auspicious occasion of Kaisika Dwadasi will take place on November 13. Akshaya Navami

Akshaya Navami is observed on the ninth day of the Shukla Paksha in Kartik month in North India. it is also known as Amla Navami.     On this day, the Amla tree is worshipped as it is considered to be the abode of all Gods and Goddesses. The popular belief is that the Treta Yuga started on this day. Some people refer to the day as the beginning of the Satyuga. Lord Surya (Sun God) worshipped Goddess Durga on this day and was rewarded with properties that have him.
