Sri Chokkanathaswamy Temple Timings – Domlur (Bengaluru)
Sri Chokkanathaswamy Temple is located in Domlur in Bengaluru city in the state of Karnataka. It is one of the oldest temples in the city.
Chokkanatha swamy is an incarnation of Lord Vishnu.
The idol is small and will be in a standing posture
with four hands one in varada posture, one placed over thigh and other holding
Shanka and Chakra. The deity is madeup of Saligrama stone.
Sridevi and Bhudevi are the consorts of Lord Vishnu.
This temple was built in 10th century.
Best time to visit – September to February
Traditional dress is allowed for darshan.
