Sri Mankameshwar Mandir Timings – Agra
Sri Mankameshwar Mandir is located in Agra in the state of Uttarpradesh.
Mankameshwar is an incarnation of Lord Shiva. The
Shivalingam is covered with Silver metal.
The temple has one sanctum sanctorum where the Vigraha
of Lord Shiva sits.
One has to descend down a score of stairs to reach the
Sanctum Sanctorum.
This lingam was founded by Lord Shiva himself in
Dwapara Yuga when Lord Krishna was born in Mathura.
Other deities in the temple complex are Goddess Ganga,
Saraswati, Gayatri, Hanuman, Kaila Devi, Narasimha Swamy, Lord Rama and Lord Krishna.
This temple was built 500 years ago.
