Sri Nadi Narasimha Swamy Temple Timings – Channapatna
Sri Nadi Narasimha Swamy Temple is located near Channapatna in Ramanagara district in the state of Karnataka.
Lord Narasimha Swamy is an incarnation of Lord Vishnu.
Goddess Lakshmi is the consort of Lord Vishnu.
Nadi in Kannada means river.
The temple is facing east direction the mahadwara
through the gopuram front facing the river.
Lord Vishnu in various forms of dasavatara on the
inner walls and also a beautiful idol of Hanuman in meditative posture.
Lord Narasimha swamy directed Sage Kanva to build the
shrine for him on this river bank.
This temple was built in 11th century.
Best time to Visit – September to February
Traditional dress is allowed for darshan.
