Mata Mansa Devi Temple Timings – Panchkula
Mata Mansa Devi is an incarnation
of Goddess Sati
It is one of the
prominent Shakti temples in North India.
There are three temples
in the complex and are spread over 100 acres.
The main temple is dedicated
to Mansa Devi who is worshipped both in the form of Pindi as well in her anthropomorphic form executed
on a marble.
Goddess Saraswathi and
Goddess Lakshmi are worshipped in the form of Pindi, nowadays the deity got sculpted for giving an
attractive human look.
According to Puranas, the
head part of Sati has fallen here.
This temple was built
during the period 1811-1815.
Sharad Navratri and Chaitra
Navratri are the most celebrated festivals here.
