Sri Badrakali Amman Temple is located in Mecheri town in Salem district in the state of Tamilnadu.

She is an incarnation of Goddess Kali.

This temple has 5 tier Rajagopuram.

Rajagopuram is the main entrance to the temple, besides the main raja gopuram, three others face in three different directions.

This temple was built 800 years ago.

Special pooja is performed and the deity is adorned every Tuesday, Friday, and Sunday and on the full moon and new moon days.

Vaikuntha Ekadasi is one of the important and auspicious days for Hindus. It is dedicated to Lord Vishnu. It occurs in the Hindu calendar, in the month of Margashirsha (Between December and January).
