Sri Mariamman Temple is
located in Samayapuram in Tiruchirappalli district in the state of Tamilnadu.
Mariamman is an
incarnation of Goddess Parvati
The main deity is made of
sand and clay and hence there are no abhishekams conducted to the main deity.
Instead, the abhishekam is done to a small deity in front of it.
