Sri Suyambu Linga Swamy Temple Timings – Uvari

Sri Suyambu Linga Swamy Temple is Situated at Uravi in the Tirunelveli district of Tamilnadu State.

It is one of the popular temples near Kanyakumari and Tirunelveli.

This temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and he is swayambhu here.

His consort is Brahma Sakthi.

Here the Sun god Worshipped Lord Shiva and Sun rays fall on the deity throughout the Margazhi month. This is the only temple where sunlight falls on the Lord for a whole month.

People believe that the god here can cure any disease.

This temple was built 500 years ago.
