Sree Devi Bhagavati Temple is located inside the Ratnadurg fort in Ratnagiri district of Maharashtra State.

Sree Devi Bhagavati is an incarnation of Goddess Durga.

This temple is renowned for its enticing architecture, which is a reflection of Hindu architectural design.

Sri Devi Bhagwati Mandir, a section of the enormous Ratnadurga fort, is one of India's oldest temples. Unique sculptures of gods like "Veer Vignesh" and "Ashtadash Bhuj" can be found inside the temple.

This temple was built during the Bahamani period. In 1670 Shivaji Maharaj won the fort from the hands of Adil Shah of Bijapur. King Shivaji Maharaj had built protecting towers on two commanding points, one at the south and the other near the old court house.

The most auspicious occasion at this temple is the Navarathri Festival, which is celebrated with great vigour and enthusiasm.
