Sri Kothandaramar Temple – Thillaivilagam

 

Sri Kothandaramar Temple is in Thillaivilagam Village in Thiruvarur district of Tamilnadu State.

This temple is one of 108 Abhimana Kshetrams.

It is also one of the Pancha Rama Kshetrams

The Presiding deity is lord Rama. There are also Goddess Sita, Lakshmana, and Hanuman in the temple

Aadi Ammavasai and Thai Ammavasai days are sacred at this temple. Couples who bathe in the tank west of the temple on either of these two days are believed to be blessed with children.

Sri Ramanavami festival is celebrated for 11 days

At this temple, it is believed that offering curd rice to Anjaneya will free the devotees from Navagraha Dosham and marital problems.
