Sri Umamaheswara swamy temple timings - Yaganti



Sri Uma Maheswara Swamy temple is located at Yaganti in Kurnool district in the state of Andhrapradesh.


Uma maheswara Swamy is an incarnation of Lord Shiva. Goddess Parvathi Devi is the consort of Lord Shiva.


The miraculous characteristic of this temple is that idol of Nandi here keeps increasing in size


Another fact is that the crows are forbidden to fly in yaganti


The temple pond is believed to have water throughout the year.


This temple was built during 5th and 6th centuries renovated during 15th century.
