Mahanandi Temple Timings
Sri Mahanandeswara Swamy Temple is located at
Mahanandi Village in Kurnool district in the state of Andhrapradesh.
Mahanandeswara swamy is an incarnation of Lord Shiva.
The shiva lingam is swayambhu here and linga is partially submerged in water.
There are Nine temples associated with Mahanandi. They
are Mahanandi, Shiva nandi, Vinayakanandi, Somanandi, Prathamanandi,
Garudanandi, Suryanandi, Krishnanandi, and Naganandi.
The temple is famous for its fresh water pools called Kalyani
or Pushkarini
This temple was built during 7th Century
and was later enchanced during 10th and 15th centuries.
