Mahanandi Temple Timings

Sri Mahanandeswara Swamy Temple is located at Mahanandi Village in Kurnool district in the state of Andhrapradesh.


Mahanandeswara swamy is an incarnation of Lord Shiva. The shiva lingam is swayambhu here and linga is partially submerged in water.


There are Nine temples associated with Mahanandi. They are Mahanandi, Shiva nandi, Vinayakanandi, Somanandi, Prathamanandi, Garudanandi, Suryanandi, Krishnanandi, and Naganandi.


The temple is famous for its fresh water pools called Kalyani or Pushkarini


This temple was built during 7th Century and was later enchanced during 10th and 15th centuries.

Sri Raghavendra Swami Aradhana 2024 Dates

Sri Raghavendra Swami was born as the second son of Gopikamba and Thimanna Bhatta in the year 1595. The great saint who was hailed as the incarnation of Prahalada, the great bhakta of Lord Maha Vishnu, was born in the Mrighashirsha Nakshatra at Buvanagiri which is in the present day Tamilnadu. Born as Venkatanatha and fondly called Venkata Ramana, Sri Raghavendra Swami was the epitome of piety and bhakti. Tirumala Brahmotsavam is an annual festival at  Lord Venkateswara Temple celebrated for nine days in September and October.
