Kedarnath Temple Timings




Kedarnath Mandir is dedicated to god Shiva. It is on the Garhwal Himalayan range near the Mandakini River in Kedarnath. Kedarnath is a Jyotirlinga temple and also forms part of the Chota Char Dham circuit. This temple was constructed in 8th Century.

The temple is one of the four major sites in India’s Chota Char Dham pilgrimage of Northern Himalayas. This temple is the highest among the 12 Jyotirlingas.


Best time to visit – May to July, September to October

Temple Timings :

4.00 am to 3.00 pm

5.00 pm to 9.00 pm

4.00 am to 7.00 am - Rudrabhishek

4.30 am to 6.30 am – Maha Abhishekam

6.00 pm to 7.30 pm – Sampurna Aarti.

240 kms from Dehradun Airport.
