Sri Bindeshwar Mahadev Temple – Bisaona

 

Sri Bindeshwar Mahadev Temple is located at an altitude of 2480 meters above sea level in Bisaona village in the Pauri Garhwal district of Uttarakhand

Here Lord Shiva is the presiding deity

There are also idols of Lord Ganesha, Parvati Devi, and Mahisasuramardini.

This temple was constructed in the 9th/10th century.

It is built in the Katyuri style of architecture

There is no correct information regarding this temple

 According to one belief, the temple was built by the Pandavas in one night while in exile. Another legend says that the temple was built by a king named Bindu. Alternatively, the temple may have been built by lord Vishwakarma.

Every year on Vaikuntha Chaturdashi, a fair takes place there.

Sri Raghavendra Swami Aradhana 2024 Dates

Sri Raghavendra Swami was born as the second son of Gopikamba and Thimanna Bhatta in the year 1595. The great saint who was hailed as the incarnation of Prahalada, the great bhakta of Lord Maha Vishnu, was born in the Mrighashirsha Nakshatra at Buvanagiri which is in the present day Tamilnadu. Born as Venkatanatha and fondly called Venkata Ramana, Sri Raghavendra Swami was the epitome of piety and bhakti. After serving the world and the lord for a lifetime, Sri Raghavendra Swami attained Jeeva Samadhi in the year 1671. It happened on the Dwitiya of Krishna Paksha of the Shravana month. Tirumala: March 2025 Quota Details

  The March 2025 quota of Arjita Seva tickets will be released on December 18 at 10am by TTD online which includes Arjita Sevas viz. Suprabhatam, Tomala, Archana, Astadalam. The devotees shall register for these sevas from December 18-20 and those who got the tickets shall have to pay from December 20 onwards and before the 12noon of December 22. Meanwhile, the Arjita Sevas like Kalyanotsavam, Unjal Seva, Arjita Brahmotsavam, Sahasra Deepalankara Seva tickets will be released at 10am on December 21 while the virtual sevas and gheir darshan slots on the same day at 3pm. TTD will release the  the Anga Pradakshinam tokens at 10am, SRIVANI tickets at 11am, Physically challenged and senior citizens at 3pm on December 23. Dhanurmas or Dhanur Masa is also known by the names Chapa Mas, Kodanda Mas, Karmuka Mas, etc. Dhanurmasa is also called Shoonya Masa because it is considered inauspicious to do any good things other than Godly and holy functions. In 2024  Dhanurmasam starts on  December 16 and ends on January 13, 2025. This period ends with the Makar Sankranti - the end of dakshinayana mostly occurs during the Pausha month of the Hindu Lunar calendar.   Pushya Masam is the tenth month as per the lunar calendar. In this month farmers get their crop hence it is called Soubhagya Laksmi Masam. The sun would transit in the northern direction and from then onward the Uttarayana Punyakalam starts. Uttarayana starts with the most famous festival Sankranti. As per North Indian Calenders, this month starts on December 16 , 2024, and concludes on January 13, 2025.
