Sri Maligarjunar Swamy Temple – Parvathimalai, Tamilnadu.

This temple is located at Paravathimalai hills, Thenmathimangalam village in the state of Tamilnadu.

Here Presiding deity is Mallikarjuna swamy, who is incarnation of Lord Shiva. Brammarambigai is consort of Lord Shiva.

This temple is a vertical mountain over 4000 feet in height that has iron rod steps, track steps, ladder steps and sky steps not found at other such sacred mountains.

The kadapaarai Padhai section of the climb up the hill is considered to be the toughest part of the trek.

This temple has no doors or compound walls. This temple was built 2000 years ago.
