Adi Badri Temple Timings - Karna Prayag
Adi Badri Temple is
located in Chamoil district in the state of Uttarkhand.
Here the statue of lord Vishnu
is in stand position which is 3.3 feet height.
It is the second among
the Sapta Badri temples. Where Badrinath temple closes for winter, devotees
worship lord Vishnu in Adi Badri Temple.
There are Lord Shiva and
Mantra Devi in the temple premises.
It is believed that the
kund in the temple is the original source for Saraswathi river.
It is believed that Lord
Vishnu will be shifted to Bhavishya Badri at the end of Kaliyuga and Satyuga
begins thereafter.
After lord Vishnu shifted
to Bhavishya badri, Adi Badri will be known as Yog Badri.
This temple was built
during 5th to 8th Centuries.
Best Time to visit – May to
July, September to October
The weather is cold
throughout the year. Rain and Snowfalls often occur, Must wear proper winter
clothes with mufflers and gloves. An Umbrella is must to carry.
