Sri Chennakesava Swamy temple is located at Belur, Hassan District in the state of Karnataka. It is located on the banks of river Yagachi.


Chennakesava Swamy is an incarnation of Lord Vishnu. The deity has four hands the upper two holding a discuss and conch, while the lower two have Lotus and a Mace.


Goddess Bhudevi and Sridevi are the Consorts.


This temple has 5 tier Rajagopuram with 100 feet in height.


This temple was built in the 12th Century.
