Sri Bhu Varaha Swamy Temple Timings – Tirumala

 


Sri Bhu Varaha Swamy temple is located to the north of Lord Venkateswara Swamy temple, on the banks of Swamy Pushkarini.


So Tirumala is also called as Adivarahakshetra.


It is a tradition that devotees pilgrims must pay a visit to Varaha Swamy before visiting Lord Venkateswara Swamy.


Special abhishekam is performed every year during the holy Shravana month, with the advent of the Shravana star on the auspicious occasion of Varaha Jayanti.

5.00 pm to 9.00 pm.

Tirumala Brahmotsavam is an annual festival at  Lord Venkateswara Temple celebrated for nine days in September and October. In this year 2025, Lord Sri Venkateswara Swamy   Brahmotsavams   will be celebrated from  September  24 to   October 02. Popular stories trace the origin of this celebration to Brahma, the creator God, who first conducted this festival in Sri Balaji at Tirupati. Sri Raghavendra Swami Aradhana 2024 Dates

Sri Raghavendra Swami was born as the second son of Gopikamba and Thimanna Bhatta in the year 1595. The great saint who was hailed as the incarnation of Prahalada, the great bhakta of Lord Maha Vishnu, was born in the Mrighashirsha Nakshatra at Buvanagiri which is in the present day Tamilnadu. Born as Venkatanatha and fondly called Venkata Ramana, Sri Raghavendra Swami was the epitome of piety and bhakti. After serving the world and the lord for a lifetime, Sri Raghavendra Swami attained Jeeva Samadhi in the year 1671. It happened on the Dwitiya of Krishna Paksha of the Shravana month. The Brindavana that houses the samadhi is in the Raghavendra Mutt in Mantralayam and is visited by hundreds and thousands of devotees each year.   Skanda Sasthi is dedicated to Lord Murugan or Subramanya Swamy. It is the sixth day of every lunar fortnight in the Hindu Calendar.
