Sri Ganapathi Temple Timings - Adasa

 


Adasa Ganapathi Temple is located at Adasa village in Nagpur Dist. In the state of  Maharastra.


Ganesha statue is standing posture 12 feet tall, 7 feet wide and is swayabhu.


The Temple is considered one of the eight Ashta –Vinayakas in Vidarbha.


It is Hillock Temple constructed in Hemadpanti style of Architecture .


Need to climb 40 to 50 steps to reach this Temple.


There are around 20 small Temples within the premises, including Durga, Kalbhairava and Hanuman Temple.


This is 1000 years old Temple.

Tirumala Brahmotsavam is an annual festival at  Lord Venkateswara Temple celebrated for nine days in September and October. Sri Raghavendra Swami Aradhana 2024 Dates

Sri Raghavendra Swami was born as the second son of Gopikamba and Thimanna Bhatta in the year 1595. The great saint who was hailed as the incarnation of Prahalada, the great bhakta of Lord Maha Vishnu, was born in the Mrighashirsha Nakshatra at Buvanagiri which is in the present day Tamilnadu. Born as Venkatanatha and fondly called Venkata Ramana, Sri Raghavendra Swami was the epitome of piety and bhakti. After serving the world and the lord for a lifetime, Sri Raghavendra Swami attained Jeeva Samadhi in the year 1671. It happened on the Dwitiya of Krishna Paksha of the Shravana month.   Skanda Sasthi is dedicated to Lord Murugan or Subramanya Swamy. It is the sixth day of every lunar fortnight in the Hindu Calendar.
