Sri Kapileswara Swamy Temple is located in Belagavi city in the state of Karnataka.

This is one of the ancient temples, which is also called South Kashi.

Here Lord Shiva is worshipped as Kapileswara Swamy.

Akshaya Navami

Akshaya Navami is observed on the ninth day of the Shukla Paksha in Kartik month in North India. it is also known as Amla Navami.     On this day, the Amla tree is worshipped as it is considered to be the abode of all Gods and Goddesses. The popular belief is that the Treta Yuga started on this day. Some people refer to the day as the beginning of the Satyuga.   The once-in-a-year event, the procession of Sri Ugra Srinivasa Murty in Tirumala on the auspicious occasion of Kaisika Dwadasi will take place on November 13.
