Sri Kalyani Devi Mandir – Allahabad

 

Sri Kalyani Devi Mandir is located in the Kalyani devi area of Allahabad of Uttar Pradesh State.

It is one of the most revered Shaktipeethas in India. It is regarded as one of the 51 Shaktipeeta temples in India.

It is believed that the three fingers of Goddess Sati devi had fallen here

The importance of this temple is mentioned in various Puranas

This temple house three deities of the mother Goddess in the form of three fingers of Mother Sati.

Kalyani Devi is in the center flanked by Chinnamasta Devi on the left and Shankar Parvati on the right side.

Lord Rama, Sita Devi, Lakshman, and Lord Radha Krishna are worshipped on the premises.

Chaitra Navratri and Ashwin Navaratri are the most important festivals celebrated here.
