Phalguna Purnima
- The Purnima in the month of Phalguna is referred to as Phalguna Purnima
- In southern states on this day Kama dahanam is observed.
- On this day Lakshmi Jayanti is observed.
- It is also the birth anniversary of Chaityana Mahaprabhu.
- If the devotee prays to Moon-god then he bestows blessings on him and also gets rid of their past sins.
Things to do
- Wake up early in the morning
- If Possible take a bath in sacred rivers
- Wear fresh clothes
- Worship Lord Vishnu on this day
- Perform Satyanarayana Swamy Vrat
- Chant Om Namo Narayana and other holy mantras.
