Patrapushpa Yagam at Sri Kapileswara Swamy Temple on May 23

 

Patrapushpa Yagam will be held on May 23 at Sri Kapileswara Swamy temple in Tirupati.  


Ankurarpanam will be held for this purpose on May 22. As a part of this, on May 23 from 7.30 am to 9.30 am, Snapana Tirumanjanam will be conducted for Somaskandamurthy.  


Patrapushpayaga mahotsavam will be held from 10 am to 12 noon.  In this abhishekam is done with different kinds of flowers and leaves like tulsi, chamanti, ganneru, mogali, sampangi, rose, and lilies.  


Thiruveedhi Utsavam will be held from 6 pm to 8 pm. 

Grihastas (two persons) can participate in Patrapushpayagam by paying Rs.200/- per ticket.

Annual Brahmotsavams were held in this temple from March 1 to 10.  

During this festival, priests perform Patrapushpa Yagam as a Parharotsavam for the mistakes made by the staff, religious staff, devotees either knowingly or unknowingly.

Sri Azhagiya Singar Perumal Temple Timings – Kanchipuram

  Sri Azhagiya Singar Perumal Temple is located in Kanchipuram in the State of Tamilnadu. The presiding deity is Mukunda Nayakan who is incarnation of Lord Vishnu. He is seated in a Yoga Position. Tirumala: Kaisika Dwadasi on November 13

  The once-in-a-year event, the procession of Sri Ugra Srinivasa Murty in Tirumala on the auspicious occasion of Kaisika Dwadasi will take place on November 13. About the unique idol: Among the Pancha Beras(five types of idols), Ugra Srinivasa Murty is considered the Snapana Beram.  The idol of Sri Ugra Srinivasa Murthy was also known as Venkatatturaivar and stands for the anger aspect of the Lord.
