Veerabhadra Swamy Temple Timings - Rayachoti


Sri Veerabhadra Swamy temple is located in Rayachoti in Kadapa District.As per legends this temple is related to Daksha Yagna.

This temple has a 3 tier Rajagopuram with 5 kalasas.This temple was built in 12th century. 

It is a wonder in the temple that the sun rays fall on Swamy for five days in the month of March

Rays Starts from the feet on the first day and goes upward each day and touches the face on the fifth day.

One of the major attractions in this temple is single stone 56 feet Deepasthambham, which is very rarely seen temples of South India.

During morning hours, Veerabhadra Swamy appears in Bala roopam (youth) and in evening Ugra roopa with moustache.

 Devotees who worship the lord gets blessed with job opportunities and children.
