Madhyamaheshwar Temple Timings
Madhyamaheshwar is the
Second temple to be visited in Panch Kedar Temples. It is located in the
Mansoona Village of Garhwal Himalayas at an altitude of 3625 meters above sea
level in Uttarakahand.
Madhyamaheshwar
is an incarnation of Lord Shiva. Here deity is navel shaped shivalingam made of
black stone.
This
is one among the Panch Kedar and this is where Lord Shiva’s Navel and Stomach
are found here.
Due to
its high altitude location, the shrine is open only for 6 months in a year. Opens
in May and closes in first week of November.
It is
believed that the temple is built by Pandava’s over 1000 years ago.

Time to Visit – September to October, May to July
The
weather is cold throughout the year. Rainfalls and Snowfalls often occur here.
One should wear proper winter clothes with mufflers and gloves. An umbrella is
also a must to carry.

6.30 pm – Evening Aarti
