Jameshwar Temple Timings - Puri
Jameshwar Temple is located at Puri in the State of Odisha.
Jameswar Mahadev is an incarnation of Lord Shiva. Here
the Shivalinga is situated 6.40 meters below the present ground level.
Jameswar Temple is one of the Pancha Pandava Temples
of Puri.
Pancha Pandavas at the time of disguise for one year
visited this holy place and stayed one night here.
Five Shiva temples were built at Puri to memorise their
stay at this holy Place.
They are Lokanatha, Jameswara , Kapalamochana,
Markandeswara and Nikakanteswara. Yamesvara is locally called as Yudhistira.
This temple was built in 11th Century AD.
