Sri Adhinatha Alwar Temple Timings - Alwar Thirunagari
Azhwarthirunagari Perumal Temple is located in Alwar Thirunagari town in Thoothukudi district in the state of Tamilnadu.
This sacred place is also known as Dhantha Kshetram,
Varaha Kshetram, Thirtha Kshetram and Sesha Kshetram each one has a legend of
its own to gain such an identity.
Here presiding deity is Adinatha Perumal who is an
incarnation of Lord Vishnu and he is swayambhu here.
Goddess Aadhinatha Nayagi and Thirukkurukoornayaki are
the consorts of Adinatha Perumal.
It is one of the Nava Tirupathi, nine hindu temples
dedicated to Lord Vishnu located in Thiruchendur – Tirunelveli route, all these
9 temples are classified as Divya desams, the 108 temples revered by 12 Alwars.
