Sri Narasimha Swamy Temple Timings - Joshimath.
Jyothirmath also known as Joshimath is Situated in Chamoli district in the state of Uttarakhand.
Lord Narasimha Swamy is
an incarnation of Lord Vishnu.
It is believed that the
left hand of the deity is thinning day by day and the day the hand disappears,
Badrinath will be inaccessible to people.
During winter, when
Badrinath temple is closed, the idol of Lord Badri is brought to Lord Narasimha
temple and worshipped for Six months.
It is at height of 6150
feet above sea level.
It is one of the Pilgrimage
of the Sapta Temples.
Adi Shankracharya has established
four mutts in india. The fourth one is uttaramnaya muth in Jyotirmuth.

July, September to October
The weather is cold
throughout the year. Rainfalls and Snowfalls often occur here. One should wear
proper winter clothes with mufflers and gloves.
