Ardha Badri Temple Timings - Garhwal


 

Ardha Badri temple is located in Garhwal region in the state of Uttarakhand.  


It is one of the Pilgrimage of the Sapta Temples. It is seventh among the Sapta Badri temples.


The idol of Lord Vishnu is smaller here when compared to other temples. So it is called Little Badri.


Best time to Visit – May to July, September to October


The weather is cold throughout the year. Rainfalls and Snowfalls often occur here. One should wear proper winter clothes with mufflers and gloves.

Sri Murugan Temple - Thiruparankundram

Sri Murugan Temple is located at Thiruparankundram in Madurai district of Tamilnadu State. It is regarded as one of the Six abodes of Lord Murugan. Vaikunta Ekadasi/ Mukkoti Ekadasi

Vaikuntha Ekadasi is one of the important and auspicious days for Hindus. It is dedicated to Lord Vishnu. It occurs in the Hindu calendar, in the month of Margashirsha (Between December and January). Also called the 'Mukkoti Ekadasi', when observed, it bestows liberation from the cycle of birth and death.  Devotees believe that ‘Vaikuntha Dwaram’ or ‘the gate to Lord's Inner Sanctum’ is opened on this day.
